Scene Study in Joan Rosenfels Acting Studio

I started working in Joan Rosenfels acting class this fall on September 13th, 2016. We meet every Tuesday and spend half the class exploring acting exercises and the other half of the class is used to study scene work. I'm enjoying this class so much! So far my scene work has included Joseph Pitt from Angels in America: Millennium Approaches and Barnette Lloyd from Crimes of the Heart. I love Joan's approach to acting and I am learning to bring my life experiences and honest reactions to my work. This class has freed up my creativity in other ways as well. I recently wrote a song called "The Passive Song." It's fulfilling to nurture my artistic soul and I'm stoked to see myself grow as I continue to learn about myself and my craft.
